Import a plan and price it
Upload a DXF exported from your CAD software. Tectivra reads it in your browser, works out the building’s overall size, and hands it to the estimator so you can price every trade from it. Nothing is uploaded — the drawing stays on your device.
What this does, honestly
- DXF today, not PDF. DXF carries real geometry and units. Pulling reliable measurements out of a PDF or scanned drawing is a hard problem we haven’t solved to a standard worth pricing against — so we don’t offer it yet rather than give you a wrong number.
- It measures the overall extent, not a detected building outline. If your drawing includes a title-block border, the envelope will read larger than the building — always check it against the plan before you price.
- Units matter. If the file doesn’t declare its units, we say so rather than guess — a wrong unit is a wrong quote.
