Account information: your name, email address and password (stored as a hash — we cannot read it). Business information you choose to enter: organisation name, ABN, projects, estimates, rates and uploaded documents. Usage information: pages visited and product events, collected to understand what works and what fails.
The free tools on this site run in your browser: buildings and quantities you type into them are not sent to us or stored unless you sign in and explicitly save.
Account and business data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia (encrypted in transit and at rest). The website is served by Vercel from a global edge network with application functions running in Sydney. We choose Australian data residency deliberately: construction data often contains other people’s personal information — subcontractor licences, insurances, contact details — and it stays onshore.
To provide the Service, to fix defects, to understand aggregate usage, and to contact you about your account. We do notsell personal information, share it with advertisers, or use one customer’s private rate data to advise another.
Our processors: Supabase (database and authentication, Sydney), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics). If we later enable email delivery or other providers, this policy will name them before they process your data. We disclose information if the law requires it, and we will tell you when we lawfully can.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Email RECC@tarainc.tech and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected users and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
